- C3AFA Singapore has been nominated in the Best Leisure Event category for three years running: 2017, 2018, and 2019.
Singapore, 10 May 2019 – C3 Anime Festival Asia Singapore 2018 (C3AFA Singapore) has won the Best Leisure Event award at the Singapore Tourism Awards 2019, held on 9th May at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Singapore.
C3AFA Singapore has bested other nominees which included Singapore Zoo’s “Rainforest Lumina”, Resorts World Sentosa’s “Universal Studios Singapore – A Universal Christmas”, Chinatown Food Street’s “The 50 Cents Fest”, and SPACElogics’ “Marvel Studios: Ten Years of Heroes”.
The Singapore Tourism Awards are hosted annually by the Singapore Tourism Board, to honour individuals and organizations for their exceptional achievements in delivering experience and enterprise excellence.
C3AFA Singapore has also been nominated in the Best Leisure Event category in 2017 and 2018.
Anime Festival Asia – which celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2018, is the biggest Japanese Pop Culture event in the region. AFA has been held over 30 times in the past decade, for a total attendance of over 1.7 Million fans.

C3AFA Singapore 2019 is scheduled to take place from 29th November to 1st December 2019 at Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre.
